Hosting for your company, in your company's name
I choose the plan, open the account in your company's name, move the website and e-mail from your previous provider and keep an eye on renewals. You have access to everything. I handle the technical side.
What I do with hosting
- I choose a plan that fits the site: a simple company website needs something different from a WooCommerce shop or a business system.
- I open the account in your company's name, so hosting invoices go to you.
- I move the website files, the database and the mailboxes from your previous provider.
- I set up the SSL certificate and the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, so e-mails from your contact form stay out of spam.
- I turn on backups and check that the website can actually be restored from them.
- I keep track of domain and hosting renewal dates.
Why I usually choose Hostinger
My own websites, websly.pl and roland4foto.com, run on Hostinger, and so do the client sites I look after. Roland4foto.com scores 100 in PageSpeed there on desktop and mobile. The control panel works in English and Polish, I pick a server in Europe, and shops and busier sites get cloud hosting. Websly is a Hostinger partner in its programme for agencies.
Referral: who gains what
When I set up new Hostinger hosting for you through my referral, you pay 20% less for the first billing period. Hostinger pays me a commission for it, and a smaller one on renewals. Your price does not go up because of it, and the account belongs to your company, so you can move to another provider at any time.
Tell me where your website is hosted today. I will reply whether moving makes sense and what I will set up.
Questions and answers
Whose name is the hosting registered in?
Your company's. I open the account with your details or get collaborator access to it, and hosting invoices go straight to you.
Will the website go down during the move?
The website keeps working. I first copy it, together with the mailboxes, to the new server and test it at a temporary address, and only then switch the domain. For the few hours DNS takes to update, some visitors still see the old server and some the new one, but both versions work and no e-mail is lost.
Do I have to move to Hostinger to work with you?
I also work with the hosting you already have. I suggest moving when the website is slow, backups do not work or you pay for a plan you do not need.
How much does hosting cost?
It depends on the plan and the period you buy it for, and Hostinger lists current prices on its website. A simple company website usually does fine on shared hosting, while shops and busier sites get cloud hosting. I give you the amount for your site in the quote, before you buy anything.
