Websites in Kraków, built for you in English

I have been building websites for businesses in Kraków since 2020. If you run a company here and Polish is not your first language, I handle the whole project in English: the calls, the copy, the Polish legal pages and the local Google setup. My own site, roland4foto.com, scores 100 in Google PageSpeed, and I treat client sites the same way.

Who this is for

Restaurants, cafés, coaches, therapists, language schools, consultants, contractors and shops run in Kraków by people from abroad. You need a site that works for Polish customers and for the expat community, in two languages, with a Polish privacy policy and a Google Business Profile that ranks locally.

If you sell products, see online shops. If you need an app or a back office, see mobile apps and business systems.

Hand-coded or WordPress

Hand-coded when the site must be as fast as possible and stay fast for years. No plugins and no updates that break things. The site comes with its own admin panel where you change texts and photos, add blog posts and projects, edit translations and Google descriptions yourself. It is as easy to run as WordPress, without the parts of WordPress that break after a year. That is how roland4foto.com is built: several languages, a shop, a blog and a client panel, all run from one panel, with 100 PageSpeed points on mobile and desktop.

WordPress with Elementor when the site should be built faster and cheaper, when you want to drag elements around the page yourself, or when your team already knows WordPress. City Life Developer runs this way and the client’s team adds new projects on their own. WordPress needs care, updates and backups, which I can run for you.

What is included

  • A home page design for phone and desktop, approved before I build.
  • Copy in English and Polish, written around what customers type into Google.
  • Photos of your place, team and products. Photography is my day job, drone included, so the site does not run on stock images.
  • Domain, hosting, business e-mail and SSL, on an account you own.
  • Google Search Console, sitemap, structured data and a Google Business Profile.
  • Privacy policy and cookie notice compliant with Polish and EU law (GDPR), in both languages.
  • After launch I stay one phone call away. The scope of fixes and care after launch is set in the quote.

Why speed matters

Google measures how fast a page shows content on a phone and uses it in rankings. A customer who waits more than a few seconds goes back to the results and taps a competitor. Every site I deliver is checked in Google PageSpeed Insights on mobile and desktop, and I show you the score before launch.

How we work together

  1. Call and quote. You tell me what the business does and what the site is for. Within 2 working days you get a quote with the scope and a deadline.
  2. Design. I show you the home page on a phone and on a desktop. We adjust until it fits.
  3. Build and content. I build the site and you follow the progress at a staging address.
  4. Launch. I connect the domain, e-mail and Google. We check the site together on your phone.

Questions and answers

How much does a website cost?

It depends on the number of pages, whether it is hand-coded or on WordPress, and whether you need photos and copy. I do not publish a price list because two sites with the same number of pages can differ several times in the work involved. Tell me what you need and you will get a concrete quote within 2 working days.

Do you work in English?

Yes. Calls, e-mails, the design review and the contract are in English. The Polish legal pages and the Polish version of the site are written by me, a native speaker.

Can I edit the site myself?

Yes, in both variants. A hand-coded site comes with its own admin panel: you change texts, photos, blog posts, projects, translations and Google descriptions without touching code. A WordPress site has the WordPress panel and Elementor. At handover I show you how and leave a short guide.

Do you take the photos?

Yes. I am a photographer and drone pilot; I shoot your place, people and products myself.

Can you take over an existing site?

Yes. I first check its speed, updates, security and Google visibility, then tell you plainly whether it is worth fixing or better rebuilt.

Do you help with the domain, hosting and e-mail?

Yes. I register or transfer the domain, set up hosting, business e-mail in your domain and SSL, all on an account you own and can access.

Where are you based?

In Kraków, at ul. Zygmunta Glogera 23 (Prądnik Biały). I meet clients from Kraków in person and work remotely with everyone else.
